Van Compatibility

Lenght & Seats
FLIP bed is usually around 200cm long, so you will need at least that amount of free space in the cargo space.

2-3 seats: if your van has just the 1. row of seats, FLIP usually fits perfectly
4-6 seats: if your van has the 2. or the 3. row of seats, please make sure that you have enough space behind the seats to have the full FLIP bed (with L1 and some L2 models, rear seats will have to be removed to sleep inside).

Interior space – wheel boxes
You can find exact FLIP dimensions on the configurator page. Please check that the space in your van is sufficient.

If anything is unclear, we will ask you to send us a photo of the cargo space and we will confirm compatibility.

Recommendations

Ventilation
It is highly recommended that the cargo space has at least one big vent in a form of a side or roof window, ideally 2.

Cargo base floor
FLIP is designed to be installed on a dry, level floor – whether that’s the original wooden floor of your van or a custom wooden base you can install in it. If you don’t have it, let us know and we might be able to help.

FLIP fixation
We highly recommend to fix the FLIP in the vehicle, so it can’t move around during driving. This is especially important with cargo vans – make sure to strap it down securely.
